Falling Up by Shel Silverstein is another great poem and drawing book. My daughter and I, just can't get enough of Shel Silverstein. The poems are funny, and the drawings are silly. This book will bring a smile to your face.
After seeing this on one of my friends list I couldn’t resist re-reading it. I read this book to my children when they were small. It’s both entertaining and educational. It’s a great way to introduce children to art, poetry and the limitless of one’s imagination.
I had every single poem in this book memorized as a child. I still have some of them memorized now. I will still sit down and read through all of Silverstein's books some evenings.
