It’s Tucker Locke’s ten-year college reunion, and he doesn’t have much to show for himself. Sure, he’s a successful lawyer with a nice car and a nice apartment, but his life is empty, and Tucker knows why. A decade ago, not ready to come out of the closet, he left Whit Jamison behind. Tucker’s spent ten years pretending to be straight—ten years thinking about his mistakes. But all the time in the world couldn’t prepare him for the reality of seeing Whit again. Whit’s taller, more mature, more attractive than ever, and every bit as out and proud as he was ten years ago. Time hasn't changed the chemistry between them, and it looks like Tucker might get a second chance. All he has to do is brush aside the years of lies and embrace one powerful truth.

Has decent reviews but friends but it's too short for me. I'm gonna pass at this time.
Tuck a very closeted senior at college falls for Whit an out and proud freshman, they part on less than good terms after an 8 month secret relationship. The story is told from alternating POV's which makes it interesting and I really liked Whit's voice. They have both harbored feelings for each other ...
4.5 stars I really didn't know what to expect from this read. This is a new author to me and added to that: it's a short story with a very familiar trope: two young men with an immediate attraction, one is out the other isn't, it doesn't work out for obvious reasons, they part, they get back togeth...
This was too short to earn more than 3 stars, but for what it was, it was well done. I am tired of the "but I don't want to be gay" angst but this one was sparse enough, and short enough, that it wasn't overdone or heavy handed. While it was also too short for the characters to be very well develope...
