Nancy is a little girl that loves to be fancy. She is fancy with everything she does, including saying fancy words, and dressing in fancy clothes. Now it is time for Nancy to help her family become fancy. What is a fancy word that you like to say? Write the word and draw a picture about your fancy w...

Fancy Nancy is my favorite series for lower elementary grades. It tells the adventures of a young girl and it is an easy read. The students could read the story and do a lesson on adjectives. Also, the students could have a lesson on character analysis considering Nancy is a very interesting charact...

She always is using fun "fancy" words that kids have probably never heard which I think is great for lower grades to hear. Fun fact: I made a F...

Fancy Nancy has taught me that fancy isn't always best. Sometimes, it's better to enjoy the simple things in life. Let's face the truth of this book. Fancy things are fantastic, but make life a tad more complicated. Of course, you can always go directly back to being fancy with glitter on top after ...

My daughter loves these, but we actually didn't read the first one until recently. I think the later ones are better (and the girl child agrees). Great vocabulary, though, and she will sit and read these to herself, or we'll share readig duties.

I'm fascinated that the Wolf likes these books so much. She isn't a particularly fancy girl.
