This is a short, not-so-tame, absolutely hilarious children's story about how Fantastic Mr Fox outfoxes a trio of fox-hungry farmers. The illustrations by Quentin Blake add to the quirky humour of the story.

I couldn't believe how gruesome this story was, but it was enjoyable. If you're getting this for your kids though, I would suggest that you wait until they are at least in 4th or 5th grade.

I read this on two breaks at work.I can't believe that I never read this Dahl book before, because it's BRILLIANT, just utterly brilliant.It's funny and dark, and yeah, Mr. Fox is pretty fantastic. ;) I'm looking forward to watching the film adaptation.

Fantastic book for kids! So imaginative and creative. Easy read that children will find delightful!Roald Dahl is always brilliant! His stories and rhymes are fun and entertaining! Some of my all time favorites!! Such a great way to entertain children and get them interested in reading!
