Feeling Sorry for Celia is hilarious, heartfelt, and an absolute delight. Moriarty's specialty seems to be novels told in an epistolary form and her talent comes alive in this novel. My sodding goodreads replacement (maybe)
While best enjoyed as a teenager, this book is one of my favourite non-genre YA books I've ever read. Elizabeth and Christina are interesting and entertaining characters, and I was genuinely pleased for them as they became good friends. The letter format was an interesting change of pace, though it ...

I've heard of some of Moriarty's other books but I've never paid much attention. However, since I've discovered that Australian...
