This is the first book by bell hooks I've read - but it won't be the last! I especially like her insistence that feminism can only exist if it also tackles other social justice issues, like race and class. Altogether a nice introduction to feminist theory.

I have to say that I think Bell Hooks is totally awesome. This is the first book of hers which I've read and she recently spoke at my school. She's very intelligent and a great public speaker, not to mention the fact that she has accomplished a great deal in her life. I really think that Feminism...
