Meh, feeling a little conflicted over this one. I really loved Jace in the first book. But in Fever he's quite frankly, an asshole. He gets angry over the smallest things and is about as bad as Christian Grey is in the controlling area. Major disappointment on his character. Bethany has been livi...
This was a very consistent continuation of the first book - still not sure it needed to be an actual trilogy and not sure if I will persist with the third one. It was all a bit samey for me and a bit too "pretty woman rescue story" but the writing was clear and concise and it was an easy read

Sigh.....this book was just plain awful. I had an extremely hard time wanting to finish this book but, I'm not a quitter so I trudged on and hate read it. There was a lot of eye rolling, as I read and I may have had a few outbursts of "are you f'ing kidding me" or even some gagging noises like a kid...
Yes, I gave the second book in this series a try as well. After one night together, Jace becomes so obsessed with Bethany that he tracks her down, takes her from off the streets and provides her with a brand new, every-aspect-is-controlled-by-me life. That’s how far I got. Bethany, being a homeless 2...
I hate rating books lower than a 4 or a 5--- It's agonizing to me. The first book in this Trilogy was amazing. It was hot and spicy and perfect. This Book however was seriously underwhelming to me. The comparison to me is like a Filet Mignon compared to a Hamburger. Both good but a Filet Mignon is c...
What's the difference between exchanging sex for money and for food? It's still prostitution. And to think that Bethany had enough left-over food to take "home" and share with her brother. Agreeing with the men's proposition to "escape and forget" her life's hardships even for just a while is just w...
.2.5 stars to 3.0 stars. I thought it ok and liked it but..........Hmmmm I wanted to enjoy this book much more than I did, it is ok but that's it, that's about it can surmount too for me.I got cross with the endless waffle, the endless drifts of text between action, so much of it was unnecessary. ...
This was soo good , LOVE LOVE LOVE!! My only problem was the beginning and the unnecessary threesome , it was a big mistake but somehow it worked. This definitely has improved , love it way more than the first book and I'm heading straight to the next book .4 stars
