4.0 Book Review: Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby
I have a lot of feelings about this book. I am pretty fanatical about my alma mater’s American football team and as a direct result, parts of this book felt a bit too real. The way that Hornby is able to describe the relationship one has with a team is truly beautiful. In the intro alone (which I...

5.0 Fever Pitch
I wish I could give this book more than five stars. Hornby is an incredible writer and he explains his obsession and many of what I'd call the 'fringe aspects' of the game and the culture so eloquently. I don't know how to explain it to someone who isn't as embarrassingly obsessed with football as I...

It's a big little book about the author's obsession with football, funny and witty. But it could really be about being any kind of fan, and that's is beauty of it.
