This book was very important to me at one time in my life. Even though I like it less as I've grown, I'm going to give it at four stars because I know that at one point I would have given it five stars and now I would like to give it three.
This is the only book-to-movie book that I must say, the movie is actually done better. Still a great read, though!
I know this because Tyler knows this. Of course I've seen the movie so I knew how it turns out, but the book was pretty well written. I'm not sure when (or if) I'd have figured it out while reading.I love mind benders, and this is one of the best I've come across. Good stuff, Mr. Palahniuk.
