Stephanie Plum, Book 15 I Picked Up This Book Because: Continue the series The Characters: Stephanie Plum: Joe Manelli: Ranger: Grandma Mazur, Lula, Connie, Tank, The Story: It has taken me a week to write this and I think it is because there is nothing new to report. Stephaine is still Stephan...

Not very different from all other Stephanie Plum novels, this one has her working for Ranger as he has business problems. There’s also Lula in a lot of trouble. The book has a lot of fires and destroyed cars and, to be honest, it’s surprising that there’s not more bodies and bloodshed. It’s lightwei...

It's been a while now since I finished Finger-Lickin Fifteen by Janet Evanovich and I thought I'd post some impressions. I'll start out with the blurb: New Jersey bail-bonds office worker Lula is a witness to celebrity chef, Stanley Chipotle, losing his head, literally. Now Lula and Stephanie Pl...

I expect certain things when I read a Stephanie Plum novel... I expect Stephanie to be awful at her job, I expect her to wreck or blow up at least one car, I expect her to love Morelli and be freaked out about commitment, I expect her to be in lust with Ranger and freaked out about that, I expect Gr...

However, now that I'm older and have read a few of the more recent additions, I'd have to say I'm a little disappointed. There hasn't been much character development or movement forward. It's the same general routi...

This was definitely disappointing. Most of this book was pretty boring. It seems like the past couple books are really hit or miss. It just feels like similar situations happen in every book and no character is growing or changing at all.

I keep feeling like I should be bored with this series since it is kind of the same things happening over and over but I just can't get enough. I love the mysteries. Lula is always funny. Connie is my favorite. I want to see more of her. Mmmm Ranger.

Lula can keep her barbeque. I’ll take some extra crispy chicken from Cluck-in-a-Bucket with a side of Ranger any day!

I took a break from this series back in 2009 when (at that time) the latest paperback release (Fearless Fourteen) left me cold. I was tired with the same formula and the neverending 'love triangle' between Stephanie, Morelli, and Ranger. Heck, even Bella Swan can make a decision between Edward and J...
