Finley Eversole, Ph.D., is a philosopher, educator, activist, and advocate for the role of the arts in the evolution of consciousness. In the 1960s he was active in the Civil Rights and Women's Movements and participated in organizing the first Earth Day in New York City in 1970. As Executive Director of the Society for the Arts, Religion and Contemporary Culture, he worked with such cultural leaders as Joseph Campbell, W. H. Auden, Allan Watts, Marianne Moore, and Alfred H. Barr, Jr., founder of New York's Museum of Modern Art. A former university professor and a small business owner for ten years, he edited and contributed to Christian Faith and the Contemporary Arts, is the author of Art and Spiritual Transformation, and planned and edited a forthcoming 5-volume series addressing solutions to a range of global problems including energy, the environment, the economy, healthcare, designing for the future, and the role of women's creativity in bringing about a fairer world. Volume 1 in the series is titled: INFINITE ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES: Tesla, Cold Fusion, Antigravity and the Future of Sustainability. Volume 2 - ENERGY MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIES: Ozone Healing, Microcrystals, Frequency Therapy and the Future of Health - was released May 2013.
