Passion! writing is an outpouring of it.Over the years, I've made friends with writers of many genres of fiction - and they are all overflowing with this creative passion. Writing can take over your life. Firedance Books Ltd, will assess them over the next two or three years. We've published two of my young adult (YA) books, a supernatural action adventure and a paranormal fantasy, but there are many more books waiting to be published. Well, eleven at the moment. I just can't stop. My writer friends (many of whom come from WriterLot - writerlot.net) often challenge me to tackle new genres and, as a result, the next work to be published is a SciFi military action and adventure series. After that there will be some humorous fantasy, more young adult supernatural action adventure, another action adventure ... they're all written.I must stop writing, lol! What I really want to do more is support and help inspire new writers. I love going to schools and helping the pupils with their creative writing - and their attempts to win prizes. However, my note book* keeps finding its way into my hands and, armed with a propelling pencil, I'm pouring out new ideas, plots, scenes, characters...I write when I'm not out in the hills, sinking in peat and falling off my mountain-bike. I live in Scotland, with my family and a cat that thinks he's an opera singer. I also live in a fantasy land populated with everything from genetically-engineered aliens to mischievous pixies.*If you're thinking about being a writer - get notebooks. Never be without one. Once my wife shouted to me, 'Do you want me to wipe the condensation off the glass in the shower room?'I said, 'No, it's got all my notes on it!'I need a waterproof note book in the shower.I hope you've enjoyed my work - or that you will! If you can't come to Scotland, join me in fantasy land.Best wishes to you, and thanks for dropping in.Gary
