Newcago is free.

They told David it was impossible, that even the Reckoners had never killed a High Epic. Yet Steelheart--invincible, immortal, unconquerable--is dead. And he died by David's hand.
Eliminating Steelheart was supposed to make life simpler. Instead, it only made David realize he has questions. Big ones. And no one in Newcago can give him answers.

Babylon Restored, the city formerly known as the borough of Manhattan, has possibilities, though. Ruled by the mysterious High Epic Regalia, Babylon Restored is flooded and miserable, but David is sure it's the path that will lead him to what he needs to find. Entering a city oppressed by a High Epic despot is risky, but David's willing to take the gamble. Because killing Steelheart left a hole in David's heart. A hole where his thirst for vengeance once lived. Somehow, he filled that hole with another Epic--Firefight. And now he will go on a quest darker and even more dangerous than the fight against Steelheart to find her, and to get his answers.

3.0 Quick thoughts on Firefight
Another enjoyable read, didn't lead where I was expecting which was nice and I rather enjoyed our outcast crew member showing up again. Ended on a high note, very much looking forward to the next book.

No i czyta się ją wyśmienicie. To tyle. Ech, może jednak parę zdań dam radę z siebie wydusić. Wiadomo, ...

5.0 Review for Firefight by Brandon Sanderson
This review is also available on my blog, Bows & Bullets Reviews Oh whoa....that was intense. Steelheart was an interesting ride from start to finish, but this was more...better. This has none of that middle book syndrome that happens so often. Sanderson doesn't just rest on his success of the fir...

3.5 Firefight Book Review
*Spoilers for BOOK ONE* This was okay. It definitely didn't leave me feeling "wowed" like Steelheart. A bit too much dialogue throughout for me to really enjoy. I will definitely read Calamity. But Firefight felt like a typical slow paced middle book in a series. Now that Steelheart is dead, Da...
