Enjoyed it. The romance is, eh, okay - not bad, but nothing I got too excited over, either. Seemed to be just sorta thrown in there, ya know? For me, it was all about Scout & Lily's friendship & adventures. Those 2 seriously rocked it, Scout especially. I must admit, having read this author's Chicag...
I would probably say more like 2.5 than 3. I liked the idea for the story and I love CN's other series, but these characters just didn't have as much depth as CLV. However, I am intrigued enough with the world that she built that I'll probably grabbed the next one to read
