Short storyI keep saying that I'm not into young adult books but I need to stop because I keep getting surprised by how good they are. I'm 50+ years old for goodness sake so I shouldn't enjoy reading about high school students but this author has done such a good job that I'll definitely be reading ...

I am Gwen Frost, and I have a Gypsy gift. It's called psychometry - that's a fancy way of saying that I see images in my head and get flashes of other people's memories off almost everything I touch, even guys. My gift makes me kind of nosy. Okay, okay, maybe a lot nosy--to the point of obsession...

(Deutsche Kritik weiter unten)Extremely short but intruiging!Let me first say that I have NOT read the Mythos Academy Books yet - I bought the Mythos Academy Bundle, which includes "First Frost", "Touch of Frost", "Kiss of Frost" and "Dark Frost", and I'm going to read them in this order. So I do no...

I now cannot wait to start this series! Her power is so different from other things I have read. I enjoyed the premise and how the ending kept me wanting more! I am starting the first book Touch of Frost as soon as I finish typing this post!

A short, quick read that left me wanting more. First Frost reminded me of a lot of books and movies I've read and watched. There's the X-men, Harry Potter, The Candidates to name a few. At first I thought is was kind of unoriginal but then I think, how else would this establish into? There's no help...

Again, so short, but so awesome. You really get a feel for Gwen's character, as well as her grandma, and a few others. You're also immersed into the story immediately, always a good thing. :)

So many screwups in so few pages.ALERT: I'm in a ranting mode, and so I'm going to rant. A lot.My mom sounded tired, so I decided not to bother her tonight.“Love you, too,” I said, and hung up.I didn’t know then that this would be the last time I ever talked to her.And that is the first major mistak...

Just a short story intro to Touch of Frost, it was enjoyable. It shows how Gwen ends up in Mythos Academy, with a story focusing on her ability. We get to see just how bad it can get, it isn't all just fun and games for Gwen when seeing people's secrets. It adds to the main story. It isn't necessary...
