Short conclusion:Never before I've read an book written from a deaf person's POV, and even though there were no new insights to speak of, it was pretty interesting. Loved it. Simply loved it. No complaints. My emotions were all over the place with Piper's parents though. John wrote them in such a real way that I hated them immensely. So far, so boring. I might come back to this later, but right now, I can't stand Piper's personality.

I wanted to like this book, I really did, but something about it just didn't work for me. I liked Piper enough and understood the message but I just didn't feel connected to her at all and didn't really care if this worked out. I mean I totally got the point and thought it was a great one because ...
