This was an absolutely fantastic contemporary. Reafing about Delilah's journey was brilliant. I definitely recommend this book to anyone searching for a "summer read" or for a heartfelt contemporary.A lot of the time, contemporaries can feel rushed.. Similar to other YA contemporary romance, Fixing Delilah revolved around family secrets, self-discovering and finding the truths. I love the pace of the story and how it is told. Reading this book brought back some happy childhood memories.

What’s difficult is articulating why. When a book hasn’t evoked any particularly strong feeling, positive or negative, I find myself s...

The story was too predictable and not in a good way. And the writing was weird.
