I gave this four stars because that was my original rating, but I'm skimming through it now before reading the sequel and honestly, I don't know what I saw in it. I guess I was more into over the top alpha heroes then.

This book was good except for one HUGE problem. Although Mary fights him the whole time, pulling his hair, hitting him, scratching him, kicking and trying to get away, he has sex with her anyway. Right at the end she stopped fighting but the whole sex scene was her saying stop. Sometimes the hero...
