Having only read one other Moore novel, The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove, I was a little disappointed in this one. I must say, this is only personal preference, as the book is well written and engaging, enough so that I was able to continue reading, anyway. I just didn't care about the characters....

There were a few things I didn't like about this book, but they were quibble-y writer-y things (as in, a couple of the characters were such...characters) that didn't change how I devoured the story like maple syrup-covered Jonah.
