Beautiful. And so painful for a mother of three boys. To picture them without you someday, or their lives falling apart...so, so painful. A touching, beautiful, truly haunting story.

I loved this book as much or more than I loved Tuesdays with Morrie. Again Mitch follows a simple wander through memories of a mother and echoes our own deep love and deep love and regrets about our own mothers. Again such a short piece, yet so satisfying and emotionally wrenching.

Very touching book. Much of what the protagonist goes through is very close to my heart, and reading the last chapter made me teary. I'm not a parent, but I am a daughter, and reading this book has reminded me in a gentle and soothing way the sacrifices parents and caregivers make for their childr...

"Let me guess, you want to know why I tried to kill myself?" For Albom is loaded by writing mere fucking book reports. Evaluating this book is akin to ingesting sourly perished pancakes along with acidic decaffeinated java. Argghh!!!
