Good enough story but somehow I didn't quite related to the characters. I liked that Noah and Ellie are strong and determined people but I just couldn't fall in love with them. On the other hand, I really enjoyed reading about the new developments with Vanni and Paul.

I had a hard time connecting with parts of this one. I loved Noah and man that guy knew how to talk to a woman....Ellie was fine and I enjoyed her role in Paul/Vanni's struggle. I'm hoping for more from the next books.

This is one of my favorite in the series. The new characters are good additions to the Virgin River world and there is a decent inclusion of past favorites - -Mel, Jack, Preacher, Brie, Paul, Vannessa .... It is a sweet romance and a sweet life make-over story. There is a heartwrenching storyline ...

I've not read book #8 as it's part of an anthology and it also wasn't available on Books on Board and I haven't tried to buy it anywhere else yet. I really liked Forbidden Falls. I loved Noah! I thought he was a really great hero. It was also amusing to see someone buy an old church on ebay! Because...

It took me a bit longer to get absorbed in this book because of pondering early on but it wasn't long before I was thoroughly wrapped ...

My goodreads friends wrote very eloquent reviews of this book so I will just write a few thoughts I had about "Forbidden Falls." I wasn't sure I would like this storyline, but I should have known Robyn Carr would not disappoint me. I had to remind myself that these are just characters in a book an...

Once again Robyn Carr makes me cry. And laugh. It's good. A widowed pastor and a former stripper restore the old, abandoned church in Virgin River. There's more to it than that, of course, with child custody and self-esteem issues but it has a very sweet romance. This one was kind of a change-u...

Forbidden Falls introduces Noah and Ellie. Noah is a preacher who buys an abandoned church on Ebay. Ready to start his ministries he heads to Virgin River and against his better judgement he hires Ellie, a single mother who is in desperate need of a job.
