Ex-cop turned PI, Ric Alvarado is hired for a simple job, find a girl so the client can give her a memento from her dead daughter. But as soon as Ric, and his unwanted partner, Annie Dugan, find the girl, bullets start flying, and suddenly Ric and Annie are very cozy with a crime boss. A crime boss ...

+ 1 star for Jules quips. Ric's band of heroes seemed a little cliche, but I enjoyed his back and forth with Annie. The highlight of this book is definitely Jules and Robin, and I was a bit disappointed that their sex scenes were so much "fade to black" (when they were where I was emotionally inve...

Honestly, I could have cared less about the main love story between Ric and Annie. I had no real sense of Ric beyond a cookie cutter alpha male. His friend Martell had a ton more personality. No, the reason this book gets 4 stars is all because of Jules and Robin. How much do I love these guys? Swee...

That was one wild ride! Forces of Nature was one book that I was completely unable to put down. Especially once I really got going. My poor work suffered and I'll be making it up tomorrow, for sure. We had a dual story in this one, so let's start with the main story. Annie and Ric. Ric Alvarez m...

This is an amazing story, if read for the Jules-Robin relationship. I get the impression that was the story Suzanne Brockmann really wanted to write, and the Ric-Annie relationship was added as filler so she could sell the book in a m/f market. Which is a shame on multiple levels, since I think Anni...

(Watch out for series spoilers! I go off on a couple of tangents here...)Jules Cassidy is one of my favorite characters ever; I am SO thrilled he finally got a starring role-not only in this book, but in All Through the Night, #12 in the series. I grew up in a conservative family, and haven't always...

This is the book where Jules gets equal time. We have one story featuring Ric Alvarado (seen briefly in Breaking Point) and his childhood friend and unrequired love Annie Dugan. Annie is one of the strongest female characters that Brockmann has offered yet. I liked Annie as much as I liked Teri Howe...

I read this book because I don't like to miss a book in a series. It was just ok for me.

This is a new one on me. This is also in the middle of a continuing series of private investigators. Jules an FBI agent gay and out is after a bad guy who they think in smuggling terrorist into the US. Ric is an ex-cop who is still trying to find himself. Robin is a famous movie star who is so in th...

Robin is a self centered drama queen. His stupid antics are an embarrassment. I still don't know why Jules likes Robin. Jules is too good for Robin. This one didn't do as much for me. IT was just okay. The entire time, the crime part was secondary to Robin's flaming drama queen problem.
