(The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood) It has obviously been quite a while since I read these books and was wondering, is this the same pants from the first book? If so, I think the real mystery is how these four girls were all able to fit the same pants for four summers! I don't know why I got a...

Reading all of the books in quick succession shows just how repetitive Brashares' writing becomes. I think I read that sentence about being able to adjust to anything 17 times in the course of 4 books. She also has a weird tendency to exotify Asian things and every use of "women of color" in the boo...

Hello everyone and how's it going for you all? I hope you're doing well! Well, for me I'm doing pretty good. Today I'm going to do a review on The Sisterhood Series by Ann Brashares. I've seen the movies way before I read the books this year. I was shocked and surprised at just how different the boo...

These girls, all four of them, pissed me off at some point in this book.First, Bee. Why can't she do anything but think about the opposite sex?! Seriously. She has this wonderful opportunity to visit foreign lands and do excavations, which admittedly she threw herself into, but she also threw hersel...

The biggest difference in this is that after three books of seeing these girls as they are with each other is that you finally get to see what happens when they don’t have a three-month separation. I actually liked the differences in their personalities (with the exception of Tibby, she doesn’t real...

This series was a wonderful light read. I enjoyed every book and found the movie was really representative of the book - which is rare. I loved the 4th and final book. Everything got wrapped up into a bittersweet ending.

not my favorite from the series; i thought it was sort of disappointing, actually. by the end of the book, i hated all of them except for carmen. i mean, tibby spends the entire book worrying if she's pregnant. bee spends the summer having an affair w/a thirty-year-old w/a wife and two kids (and the...

The last book of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series. It's so good! Of course all of the old characters are back, separated for the summer. I thought it was a really great way to end the series.

Presumably the last book of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants for reasons that will become apparent as one reads the book. The four girls realize that friendships take more work than just shipping a pair of pants around which is a lesson well learned. The book isn't quite as charming and innoce...
