This is an OK intro to Marvelle's upcoming series, but it didn't make me want to rush out and read the sequels (although I probably will, eventually). I like the mystery aspect, and the duke is pretty appealing, but I take off points for screwing up the heroine's title (a real pet peeve of mine).
