The story is still good, but not as together as the first one. Odd Thomas got a visit from a ghost and found one dead body and one missing friend. His friend David was missing and he thought he was kidnapped by his father. Odd run around following only his intuition. The running around bit is a ...

This is the second book in the Odd Thomas series. It was a decent book but not as good as the first one. I've kind of lost interest in the series now but I got the whole series as a gift so I will read on anyway.

Good thing I just learned the word threnody, while translating an old, old German lullaby, so I could be prepared for this book. If only Koontz had met me halfway by remembering at least some of what it was like to be 20 years old. Odd would be 100% more believable if he were 50 and these books were...

2nd Book in the Odd Thomas series. 386 pages Favorite Line: I was looking forward to having a halo. It would make such a convenient reading lamp. Book Description: I see dead people. But then, by God, I do something about it. Odd Thomas never asked for his special ability. He’s just an o...

I'm enjoying these Odd Thomas books. This one included his friend Danny who has osteogenesis imperfecta and the villian Datura and her weird boy minion body guards.

For a few years I fell off the Koontz bandwagon. I am now again a passenger. Koontz has stopped the over-the-top, totally dated, supernatural “horror” stuff and grown up. As with its precursor, Odd Thomas, Forever Odd has a strong voice written in the first person. Odd is a likeable, strange and...
