This book was freaking good. It has supernatural beings but it was really interesting i thing if you like the demons/angels theme you will definitely enjoy this book. Seventeen-year-old Riley, the only daughter of legendary Demon Trapper, Paul Blackthorne, has always dreamed of following in her fat...

My Rating: 3.5 I've heard so many good things about The Demon Trapper's Daughter and saw it on the shelves everywhere, so when I gave it a try, I expected to really enjoy reading it like other people. However, all I have to say is that The Demon Trapper's Daughter is not really my cup of tea for two...

Finally after putting it off have pulled this first book off my shelves, my expectations for this series were high going in and the more of this story I read the more it amazed/amused/and totally had my attention until the last page. An interesting, original premise. I'm always bummed out when the first book in a series is a cliffhanger, so be warned -- the questions raised in this book will *not* be answered in it! But Oliver is a prolific writer, and I look forward to following Riley Blackthorne's adventures.

There is tons of stuff I liked about this book and quite a few mysterious things as well. Riley Blackthorne is a demon trapper. Trappers catch the demons and sell them to the church for purification instead of killing them like the hunter's do. There are five levels of demons - from minor biblio-f...

The Demon Trappers Daughter is set in Atlanta, Georgia in the near future where Demons and Angels have always existed alongside Demon Trappers. Riley is an apprentice trapper with her father and “former” crush Beck. The Demon Trappers Daughter is full of action from the first page onward and I was ...

I love, love, loved this book! I loved how everything played out and how the perspectives changed between Riley and Beck. I loved how strong Riley was, she reminded me of Rose from Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series. One thing I especially loved was all the detail, whether about Holy Water, Demo...
