I am a Presbyterian pastor, a member of the Presbytery of San Gabriel. I have written seven books, plus a Sunday School Curriculum (The Green Leaf Bible Series). In addition, I have edited and republished the Sixth Edition of An Introduction To Christian Apologetics by Edward J. Carnell. I serve as President of Green Leaf Press, a non-profit corporation that specializes in books on Christian Evidences, Bible Study,and Christian Living.I am especially interested in the study of the Bible and Christian Apologetics. But I have a broad range of interests including history, politics, science, economics, classical music, the Chicago Cubs, and the world we live in. I am a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (B.A.), Political Science; Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and San Francisco Theological Seminary (D.Min.)I am married to Janis Shannon; have two children, Doug Shannon and Kathy Barone, and three grandchildren: Ian, Liam, and Claire. I enjoy my family, reading, talking about politics and ideas, tennis and biking. We have made four trips to the Middle East, several to Britain and parts of Europe, Canada, Mexico, Russia, and Thailand.
