Just whipped through books 4 through 8 of the Stephanie Plum series, along with the Between-the-Numbers Holiday short story Visions of Sugar Plums. These are such fun, quick, reads that it's hard to sit down and write a review after each one without wanting to just jump right into the next instead....

4.5 stars. So after reading the Plum series numbers 1,2,3,4 and 7 I've realized they all are pretty much the same but I don't care-I love the series anyway. And I love getting tidbits of Ranger so I will continue reading. I love the out there characters and Stephanie's inner monologue.

This is one of my favorites in the Plum series. Very funny but action packed. Easy to pick back up if you have to put down. I love this series and can't wait to start the next one!

I can already see these becoming formulaic, amusing as they are.

It was also insubstantial and fluffy. Of the two mysteries, one I had figured out within seconds, but the other took ...

So I read this one and five out of order, so I knew what was the ending was going to be.It was still good to read this one, Sally and Sugar, more of Joe Morelli and it was just funny. I don't think I laughed out loud with this one, but it still was a kicker. The encryptions of the notes, stealing car...

I enjoyed the fourth installment of the Plum series, I just did not find it as entertaining or funny as the others have been. Something felt off, perhaps plot devices are becoming too frequently used. How many cars does Plum really have to lose in just four books? How many apartment woes? How many t...
