Rather dated humorous essays about the urban life of a writer. I often disagree with Lebowitz, but she is so funny, I don't mind. Read for a grad school essay on literary journalism about New York. I really enjoyed Lebowitz' voice and perspective on the city and its denizens circa the late 1970s.
