His teaching, consulting, and research interests are managerial/leadership skills development, employee ownership, and collaborative cultures. He has consulted for and studied employee-owned companies for over 25 years. Among other honors, he has received a Regents Award for excellence in research, University System of Maryland's highest facultyhonor.
