Frederick Stroppel is a playwright and screenwriter, who specializes in edgy satirical comedies. His many plays include the full-lengths FORTUNE'S FOOLS, ACTOR!, THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT, and over 60 one-acts. His play LAST CALL AT THE BLUE ROOM was inspired by the years he spent working at his father's bar in Glen Cove, NY, where he still lives with his wife Liz and son Joe. He has written for children's TV - OSWALD and WOW WOW WUBBZY! - and film - GLACIER BAY - and is the writer and director of the comedy web series SUBURBAN LEGENDS. His work is included in various anthologies, and nine volumes of his plays have been published by Samuel French Inc.
