Not too very long ago, I read and reviewed Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. As mentioned in that post, Vampire Academy is the first novel in a young adult series about the Moroi (vampires) and dhampirs (guardians of Moroi) who attend St. Vladimir's Academy. Specifically, it's about Lissa and Rose w...

I enjoyed the first book in the series. LOVE Frostbite! I laughed and I cried. The crying Part was a shock to my system. I don't normally tear up for young adult paranormal reads. For the emotional roller-coaster ride Richelle Mead has put me through, I would give Frostbite 6 Stars.

She is me when I was young; rebellious, sassy, and full of trouble yet with a big heart. She comes through when the going gets tough and is there when y...

Now this is a sequel!! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the setting, the characters, the relationship dynamics. Oh it was all glorious. So where to begin?? Rose. I struggled so much to like Rose in the first book, her possessive nature towards Lissa really bugged me, but in this book I felt for her....

Rose Hathaway's got serious guy trouble. Her gorgeous tutor Dimitri has his eye on someone else, her friend Mason has a huge crush on her, and she keeps getting stuck in her best friend Lissa's head while she's making out with her boyfriend, Christian. (So not cool). Then a massive Strigoi attac...
