I've been meaning to start this series since I've enjoyed her "Bigtime" series. Nice shout out to Karma Girl BTW. If there was a shout out for her "Elemental Assassin" series- I missed it since I haven't started that one yet. Gwen is a gypsy and she has the gift of psychometry. She can touch anythin...

A school for epic students, gypsy family secrets and a grandmother raising her granddaughter who cares for her granny. A yummy comfortable YA read.

I've read this ages ago. I never really processed the book, and the only reason I remembered it is because I've donated my old paperbacks to charity recently. This type of books were a dime a dozen riding into popularity on a trail of stars like Vampire Academy and the like. Touch of Frost was unins...

This was a great start to a series. The series is called mythos academy. Its a bout a girl named Gwen who lives with her mother and sometimes her grandmother ( only when her mom has to work late). They are a gypsy family each with their own "gift". Gwen can tell what people are thinking just by touc...
Steamy reads with a dollop of magic, mystery and hot... hot men
Picked this up because I enjoy the Gin Blanco / Spider series so much. It was a little light but then what else can you expect of a YA novel. Saying that, still thought it was fun, well written and will be following up with the 2nd book in the series happily.

I liked the main character in this story quite a lot. She was very easy to relate to; and sympathize with. The story sucked me right in from the very beginning and had a good pace to it. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Sometimes I look at my to read list and can't remember even having heard of the books in there (I'm pretty sure weird gremlins put stuff on there). This was one of those, but I decided to read it anyway, and I'm really glad that I did. If you like Percy Jackson, or Hex Hall, you should definitely gi...

My name is Gwen Frost, and I go to Mythos Academy — a school of myths, magic and warrior whiz kids, where even the lowliest geek knows how to chop off somebody's head with a sword and Logan Quinn, the hottest Spartan guy in school, also happens to be the deadliest. But lately, things have been weird...

I literally thought my friend from high school was pictured on the cover of this book. It looks exactly like her! Disturbingly so.
