I absolutely love Jessica Valenti's work and this book was no exception. This is a great primer for feminism. Valenti uses her characteristic causal style (with lots of slang and swearing), which isn't for everyone, but definitely makes for an interesting and enjoyable read. The book is written in...
I recently found a quasi-local feminist book store that was starting a book club and Full Frontal Feminism by Jessica Valenti was their first selection. Since the book store is in a college town, this book must have been a good choice because it seems to be aimed at college age women. I am not part ...

The shirts at the...

In Full Frontal Feminism, Valenti jumps from pop culture to sex education to violence against women and other numerous topics, prov...
With this book, Jessica Valenti (Feministing.org) presents an outstanding primer for third-wave feminists -- and women who may not yet realize that they are feminists. Information is presented in a feisty and entertaining fashion that keeps the reader's interest at the same time as educating them. ...
