Cindy Pon is way too good. After reading SILVER PHOENIX, I knew I had to read this one. The beginning of this book continues right after the first book's end. Well, not exactly right after, but close enough. And I love that. My sister, while reading this, was complaining about how different the cover...
This book explained why Silver Phoenix did not contain all the details that I so needed. This one was slower in its pace and plot and there were moments when the switch from the present to the past was jarring.
