This is a good collection of 5 short stories. Mr. Lippert is best known for his James Potter series. Yes, that James Potter. I really like Mr. Lippert. I found him quite accidentally on Goodreads. In the summer of 2011 I was poking around some links regarding Harry Potter and hit upon James Pott...
Read this review, and many more on my blog October Tune!I wanted so badly to like this story. But I just have to admit that I did not like it at all. I found out about this about two years ago, when I was desperate to find some nice fanfics about Harry Potter. But when I first started reading it, I ...
As a piece of fan fiction, this is an extremely impressive book. As a continuation of Harry Potter, I feel that it fell short of my expectations. Most of the novel followed Rowling's original descriptions of the magical world and Hogwarts. There were some instances that didn't quite fit. For exampl...
First, I don't agree that this could be a stand-alone simply because there's so much information gap for a reader not to look for answers. Unlike other open-ended stories, this one depends too much on a past story and a different world that HP and JP fans already know of. On the other hand, I do und...
I hope Mr. Lippert get his 'big' break. Not just because he is a very good story teller but also, selfishly, so he can finish the James Potter series which he started and for which he gets zero compensation.

A witch and classmate of James Potters at Hogwarts. After finishing her schooling she has come back to her grand parents home. Her parents have died...
This book brought me back to HOGWARTS. It has a great storyline and follows the way Rowling wrote the original series. Although, this is not an official sequel, it is nice to think about the way things worked to the next Potter Generations. Lippert truly has an amazing imagination.
This is such an interesting story. Petra is a great character and I loved the short story she had, but this was even better. It really went into the complexities of the world of James Potter, and Petra's world.
I love JK Rowling. So, I'm rather dubious about his "series". However, I might give it a try.
