So this is one of those largely forgotten books that you read and then think, “why the hell aren’t more people reading this”. It’s more than a coming of age story. It’s about life. Go find it.
Subject to change since I read that as a teenager and it's in my to re-read pile to see that I was probably too young to enjoy it.
