I grew up in the wonder and magic of Lake Tahoe, California. My imagination was nurtured as I tromped around among the pine trees, swam in the icy waters of the lake, and rode my bike on dirt roads. During my high school years, my mom and I spent time living in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I tromped around among the palm trees, swam in warm ocean water, and rode the bus down busy city streets.After my graduation from McKinley High School, I went on to secure a bachelor's degree in playwriting from Brigham Young University, and a master's degree in Theater Arts from the University of Minnesota.I came to writing novels later in my life, and the experience has been interesting and joyful.I am married to George and we have two grown children.
