This is a cute sexy story about two best friends. They’ve been besties forever. They went to college together and now work together. The make a perfect couple with lots of fun and sexy.

3.5I am not really a fan of Amy Lane (not that I hate her). I've read some samples of other books and I wasn't hooked, like ever. I don't like her writing, tbh. I loved it. The story is a little GFY, but NO insta love. The MCs have known each other for years and are business partners. I liked the poker metaphors, that was very unique. Made the friends to lovers story fresh.

Unlike most of her books, where there is a slow build up of the relationship and sexual tension, with the 'first time' being a major plot point, t...

Dear Book, this was the umpteenth try to get into you and now I call it quit. At 20% off to the DNF with you! Looks like this is the one book by Amy Lane that doesn't work for me. All the inner musings, the comparisons with the poker game were thoroughly getting on my nerves and in fact, during this...
