In the human-colonized Uva Beta Uva system, justice is dispensed from the Rock of Judgment, an asteroid converted into a roving courtroom in which cases are heard and sentences carried out. When the Doctor, Romana, and K-9 arrive, they quickly become entangled in an investigation by a newly-arrived ...
Doctor Who reinvented itself in the early 2000's being centred in the City of Cardiff and using the locality for many of it's location shots. "I am a Dalek" is a young adult short story that sees the Doctor and his trusty assistant Rose once again fighting his nemesis the evil Dalek with that famili...
Read this review, and many more on my blog October Tune! This story features the Ninth Doctor, Rose Tyler and Captain Jack Harkness. They end up 21st century Bromley where a Neanderthal man, named Das, has just been discovered in a hospital. While Jack looks after Das, the Doctor and Rose travel back...
My first Doctor Who EU read. Fun stuff. http://fedpeaches.blogspot.com/2013/12/sometimes-funny-is-good.html
4 Stars overallOverall: This is a fairly well put together book. I like the size, though it must be hard to find space for it on some bookshelves. It’s height translates to large, detailed images that show off the illustrators’ excellent work while also making the text easy to read. The pages didn’t...
Maybe 3.5 stars since I'm in a good mood.It was a very interesting idea, but I found myself having to put the book down to have a break from my building boredom with the story. Something about the novel's premise just did not captivate me as it should have.I am disappointed that the complex characte...
Gareth Jones (who had previously written great bits for Doctor Who merchandise and other BBC television programs) has captured the 10th Doctor and Rose, as well as the relationship between them and the Dalek race (and of course the human race) perfectly! The story starts off as it often does, by the ...
This is the type of Doctor Who story I liked, namely the ones that were set in space on board a spaceship or an asteroid of some sort. There were not many of them (probably because doing a story set entirely in space was not the easiest, or cheapest, of episodes to make, though when one comes to boo...
I guess what attracted me to this novel was the front cover, and also because it was Doctor Who. This was a time between the two incarnations of the series and the only things that we could turn to to get our Doctor Who fix, or at least a fix from an original story, was the novels. Things have chang...
Last of my Nine series. This one is creepy. Really creepy and it's more a Doctor saves the day, Jack does his own thing totally separate from the gang kinda story. Definitely not the best of the Jack Harness ones.
