I've had this on my TBR list for a while now and when I found that it was on audio while I was wandering the cyber isles of audible.com I decided it was time take another book off of my TBR list and I really enjoyed doing this. Nigel Gasp is an aging rock star and with 40 fast approaching he's sta...

I always finish a book by ZAM with a smile and Gasp! was no exception. It's the story of Jeff, home from 3 tours of duty in Afghanistan and Nigel the rockstar and their journey to find love and find out what family really is. I can't say that there's anything ground-breaking or earth-shattering...

I don't know what to make of it. At all, really. I have no idea how to react. I'm not quite sure if I like it, dislike it, or am indifferent towards it. There was a time when I knew for a fact I didn't dislike it. And then it wasn't over and it kept going and then I really have no idea how to react....

A wonderful story with a fantastic cast of characters. I would have liked more at the end, but it's probably best that everything wasn't tied into a neat bow.

°•○★5 Stars - KAPOW★○•°A "Live Your Life, Buy The Book" ReviewOh. My. God! I just loved this book soooo much!! It was such a fun read – sexy too! I always love the quirky characters that ZAM creates – and this story has the added bonus of two of my very favourite things – a Brit and a rock star! And...

I hate to go against all the reviews that rated this book so highly, particularly as I am a big fan of Z.A.Maxfield (particularly the St Nachos series) however I enjoyed but did not absolutely love this book. Although very well written with some brilliant one-liners, I just didn't warm to Nigel. Par...

I loved it, was engaged enough to stay up reading until I finished it. But... but what? I'm not sure, maybe because I was up too late finishing it! But I had a few niggles I'm having difficulty articulating.

Nigel is possibly one of my new favorite characters ever! It was so much fun getting to know him, especially as parts of the book felt like we were accompanying him as he was getting to know himself again.I loved that we got to see him both through his own perspective and also that of Jeff. And I ...

It's Z.A. Maxfield, you guys, so this was an auto-buy for me. And I loved Nigel. What can I say? I've got a thing for reckless, self-destructive characters who do incredibly stupid things. In fiction, they're charming. In real life I would want to tie them up and beat them. And not in a fun way. Whi...

This one was very funny, well written and overall very enjoyable. I liked both MCs very much and their love story was great. I abolutely loved the interaction with Dee, Jeff's sister, Nigel's personal manager, I laughed out loud at some points (getting strange looks from my husbad...)
