all without a single visit to the health department. Zero you say? Zero. Heroine walks in on him getting a blow job from some random chick in the first chapter. He's known - and been trying to get in her pants - the h for a year. A YEAR. Of nightly inviting her for a bit of slap tickle, followed b...
Originally posted at The Book Nympho This book couldn't be more aptly named as it's all about getting rowdy (as in acting up) and getting Rowdy, the main character. In the two earlier books in this series, Rowdy emerged as this murky person, not really certain on what side of the law he was actu...
I enjoyed this story but it took me awhile to warm up to the hero and heroine. It was another commitment-phobic hero plot with usual behavior and too many secrets then the heroine got a backbone and the action picked up. Bar owner Rowdy keeps asking his waitress Avery to have sex with him.
This book was the classic case of "it's not you, it's me". I have really enjoy this author's work and the previous books in the series, but I found that given my newly discovered love of M/M, the M/F romance and it's semi-cardboard characters just couldn't hold my interest this time around.

PJV Quickie: I have enjoyed Lori Foster’s Love Undercover series, and Getting Rowdy is definitely my favorite installment so far: a sexy alpha male, a tough yet sweet heroine, and an interesting story had me up late reading until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore. Review: Avery Mullins is a bar...
Diclaimer: I received an ARC of this title from the publicist in exchange for an honest review. This has in no way affected my opinion. Getting Rowdy by Lori Foster was a new and surprising read to me. It was the first title by this particular author I’d read, so aside from the suspicion that ther...
