Richard Evans, a writer born in New York City was drawn to music at an early age. After becoming a DJ he later on became a lyricist and hip hop music producer. He realized that today's youth were lacking positive images and messages that they can actually relate to and feel good about. After some years, Richard met up with Dale Wilburg who in which was not a stranger to writing himself. In 2008 they teamed up to form RichDale Incorporated. In order to combine vast ideas they created a wonderful book series for children of all ages. After reading their stories in various after school programs they would receive an authentic response and the feedback was out of this world! Richard and Dale supplemented their children's book series as one of the latest writing teams that incorporated reading rhythm with an innovative, colorful style. So the idea was to create a series of characters to transform the way kids build positive self images. "It's almost like they are discovering a new form of rhythm while reading. Visually the images and colors are fascinating and that makes it exciting", says Richard. With several children's stories and simply two down to earth guys "RichDale Tales" was born. Dale says, "Coinciding with everything that is new, hot and fresh! Having three boys myself, I continuously reinforce the importance of reading to my sons". After recently becoming a new dad himself, Richard plans to teach his daughter that it is celebrated to be diverse and unique. As two aspiring writers, Richard and Dale are soon to make their books a must have in every household. They are anticipating that their children's books will become a reference for all parents. In hopes that it will teach children that it is ok to not only read a book, but do it with a rhythm while having fun. During their first few years as partners Richard and Dale also have written a few screenplays.
