Gil Reavill's "13" series of crime novels kicked off with 13 Hollywood Apes: A Layla Remington Mystery , out as an e-book from Random House, which will be followed up in July 2015 by 13 Stolen Girls: A Layla Remington Mystery. He is a leading true-crime journalist, with two recent non-fiction works: Mafia Summit: J Edgar Hoover, the Kennedy Brothers and the Meeting That Unmasked the Mob and Aftermath: Cleaning Up After CSI Goes Home. His work has been widely featured in magazines, including articles on the sons of Saddam Hussein, Sammy "The Bull" Gravano and the Rampart police corruption scandal. Reavill also works as a collaborative writer, with recent credits including I Only Know Who I Am When I Am Somebody Else , by Danny Aiello, Steve & Me: My Life with the Crocodile Hunter, by Terri Irwin and Tiki, , by Tiki Barber. Reavill lives in Westchester County, New York.
