47% in and couldn't finish. WAAYYY too preachy. I had some vague idea that Christianity was a theme before I started, but I didn't realize how heavy-handed it would be.It's just as well that I quit - the characters were cardboard cutouts that I was unable to connect with.

I could not put this book down once I started it. It was really, really good. As the description would lead you to believe, there are times when it is really sad, but still good. Very well written.
