Gina Rae Foster has traveled across North America and Western Europe, settling in Tennessee, Oregon, California, England, and New York while studying philosophy, religion, poetry, and healing. A poet, theorist, teacher, facilitator, filmmaker, and nonprofit administrator, she currently directs the Lehman Teaching & Learning Commons at Lehman College/CUNY in Bronx, New York. She holds a doctorate in Media Studies and Communication from the European Graduate School, an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Oregon, and an MA in Religion from Vanderbilt University. She is also certified in International Trauma Studies. Gina Rae Foster is the Poet-in-Residence and Marina Tsvetaeva Fellow in Poetics for the European Graduate School as well as the Poet-in Residence for the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
