Books without reviews are like a garden locked behind sold steel gates, the beauty denied to all. So I need your help, I need reviews.
Four high school students shook their heads in disbelief; Lauren, her fraternal twin brother Logan, Eric the football captain, and John the intellectual prodigy looked up to the three suns blazing high in the sky, and wondered what had happened. As they scanned the horizons they could see nothing but deserted grasslands, and had no idea of where they were, but they were not on Earth. They remembered seeing the mountains from their bus windows, they remembered the accident in the tunnel, it was evidence they could not argue with, as a piece of the mountain, tunnel, and bus stood in front of them, surrounded by the sea of green grass. And lying unconscious in the grass, Zack and Ryan — the last person to see Lauren’s older sister alive. What started off as a normal school day, quickly changed into the oddest day of their young lives.
As they struggled with their dilemma of their hurt friends, nobody to help them, the shock of not knowing what has happened, they see one lone traveller heading their way. Mirtza, the son of a pig and root farmer, and a magic student, offers his assistance to take their friends to the ‘healers,’ and with no other choice, they accept. And there oddest day becomes even more peculiar.
On that trip Lauren begins to act strange, is gifted with knowledge and powers from the lands. And her brother Logan, will soon discover the lands have also adopted him. Their trip leads to an odd forest, then to elves, and then to dwarves. And it is at the dwarven Ironhouse Mine that the adventure truly begins, where some of the mysteries are revealed, but others are also presented. And one of those mysteries is a six foot long sword, made by four foot tall dwarfs, and Eric is named its Champion.
In book one of the Anti-Matter Chronicles, Tranquil Fury, you will find a fresh, fast paced adventure, with unique characters, odd circumstances, unusual events, with an exceptional and original story line. Unlike most epic novels, where one character has a foreboding sense of the underlying currents, in the Anti-Matter Chronicles, the unknown has already embraced the resident characters as they wait to welcome the six new cast members. And it is with their insight, that the truth is soon realized, and the real threats discovered.
Book one is the foundation; the world building, back story, character introductions, much more and a fast paced journey of discovery. Book two is the structure that supports the story, the character evolution that happens in unexpected ways. Both books were written to grasp the reader’s attention, but from the beginning, the series was designed as a trilogy, not a story that grew too long. And I wanted to give value to the reader, so I made sure that each subsequent book grew in length. But it is in book three, ‘Blood Bond’, that the magic of the Anti-Mater Chronicles is truly unleashed. It is the exciting conclusion of the series that I so desperately seek reviews for, and it is my hope that book will draw you into the unfolding and unexpected drama.
