I enjoyed this book, but it didn't WOW me. I'm from the south and down here we take our college football seriously. So this book was fun to read, but I just didn't feel it, the thing between Roger and Brian. So yeah. Enjoyable, but no Wow.

I like the way the author executed the story. The varying POVs made the story well rounded and kind of let us experience the varying emotions and thoughts of all the characters. It was fun learning about the characters and kind of sharing their experiences. Reading about Roger as a child, his father...

It was entertaining and held my interest. But I asked myself afterwards, why I liked reading it. It was a little too much about physical perfection as the foundation for love. Brian didn't have much else going on for him imo. I never had the impression that he was such a great person. Mostly he ...
