Glenn Hughes is the author or editor of six books of philosophy, the author of two poetry chapbooks, and the editor or co-editor of three works by the late Northwest poet and painter Robert Sund. Raised primarily in Seattle, he has variously lived in northern Washington State, Switzerland, and Wales. After receiving his doctorate in philosophy from Boston College, he taught briefly at Simmons College before moving to San Antonio, where for two decades he has been a professor at St. Mary's University.
