Glenn Stout is the author, editor or ghostwriter of nearly 90 books, including The Selling of the Babe, the groundbreaking Boston Globe bestseller Fenway 1912, bestsellers Red Sox Century and Yankees Century, and the critically acclaimed Nine Months at Ground Zero, The Best American Sports Writing, and Young Woman and The Sea: How Trudy Ederle Conquered the English Channel and Inspired the World, now in development for Paramount Pictures. He has served as Series Editor for The Best American Sports Writing since its inception. Glenn is available to make author visits, deliver lectures and workshops on all aspects of writing. As an editor of longform narrative journalism, Stout has helped produce many award-winning stories that have been recognized by Longreads.com, Longform.org, the Nieman Foundation and other notable aggregators.Born in Ohio and a graduate of Bard College, Glenn is dual citizen of the United States and Canada and lived many years In Boston's South End and elsewhere in Massachusetts.
